Absolutely fantastic hotel, I would highly recommend a room with a balcony, with the door open falling asleep to the sound of the sea. The food and drink menu is presented by an excellent team that make you feel welcome.

The hotel was very nice. Clean and modern. Our room was lovely. Top floor, corner unit with a balcony. Couldn't have picked better if we'd been given an option. Breakfast was lovely. The only fault was the pretty grim evening meal. Overpriced & not good. My "chicken" was also I think sliced Turkey in a questionable sauce. My Husbands Steak was very tiny, & he got one mushroom & one tomato with it & chips. But I would certainly stay here again B&B.

Very strong smell of garlic fro m vventilation in bathroom and noise from wind turbine .not your fault . Food ok breakfast a bit lukewarm. Real ale on tap blody brilliant . Second time of visiting .if we are in area would stay again .

Stay at Commissioners Quay Blyth

The room and the hotel were very nice, the slight downside came when we tried to check in and had to do that via an automated AI system which wasn’t particularly user friendly and long winded especially as I had already given my details when I booked,it didn’t give adequate instruction re: keys and staff at desk/bar seemed very occupied in other areas and not wanting to help. A human being checking in would have made all the difference . Tea and coffee in room weren’t good quality.
