Dream River Cabin -- Riverfront

Wake up to the sights and sounds of the majestic McKenzie River—This riverfront cozy cabin is tucked away in a peaceful, private setting surrounded by lush old growth forest and flowing water. Whether you're here to unwind or adventure, this is your perfect base camp. The spacious layout accommodates larger groups while still feeling cozy for couples. Explore hiking trails, biking, rafting, and golf, eateries—all just minutes away. Enjoy fishing right in front of the house.

Take the long and winding drive slowly as you admire the towering trees. The driveway is a shared access to the Fern Grotto campsite on the upper half of the property, then the drive drops down into your private oasis.

The cabin is the perfect private get-away. The sun-drenched riverfront deck is wonderful for slow mornings or golden hour glasses of wine to invibe in the peaceful rhythm of the Mckenzie. Enjoy the flat and easy entrances to the water's edge to dip your toes in, watch boats roll by, or throw a fishing line in. Lounge riverside at KiKi’s beach, a large sand box for littles to play, while the adults post up Hawaii style.

Inside the cabin, enjoy the craftsmanship of an all wood cabin build in the 70-‘s. The glass wall help you enjoy nature without stepping outside. The two fireplaces invite you to relax and get cozy after an outdoor day. Enjoy strolls around the property on the hidden and shared trails of the 1.5 acres of old growth forest. Sometimes the best adventures is not having to adventure anywhere but your deck!

The Space

The cabin is kid-friendly, even if it’s not obvious at first glance! There’s a Pack ’n Play, high chair, kid toys, and a baby gates (to block off the stairs and fireplace) all tucked away in the closet. A bassinet can be provided if requested.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, blender, dishes, spices, teas, and, condiments. Enjoy the propane grill for cooking with a riverfront view. And take time to relax at the propane fire table on the deck.

The location was beautiful. The sound of the river, relaxing in the hammock. We enjoyed the fire at night with family. Katie, the host was quick to respond when the propane tank was empty. Can't wait to book The Dream River Cabin again next spring for our niece's graduation!
The outdoor space alone is worth renting! So beautiful

ChatGPT said:Absolutely magical. Our recent stay at this riverside cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Tucked away in nature, it offered the perfect escape from the noise and stress of everyday life. The peace and quiet here is unmatched—you fall asleep to the gentle sound of the river and wake up to birdsong and soft morning light. The cabin itself is beautifully kept and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable—soft, cozy, and perfect for a restful night’s sleep. We loved spending our evenings out on the patio, grilling dinner on the BBQ and watching the sun dip behind the trees. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and simply be.Whether you're sipping your morning coffee by the water or stargazing by the fire pit at night, this place is pure serenity. We’re already planning our return.
