The Space:

Alpine Slope sits atop Appalachian Ski Mountain at an elevation of 4,300 ft, offering a comfortable mountain retreat just minutes from downtown Blowing Rock, Boone, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Surrounded by trees with seasonal mountain views, this home is a great place to relax and enjoy the cooler summer temperatures the High Country is known for while still being close to everything. Temperatures rarely exceed 80 degrees, making it a refreshing mountain escape with quick access to both Boone and Blowing Rock.



The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops and a center island with breakfast bar seating, opening nicely to the dining and living areas on the second level. The open floor plan creates a great space for gathering with family and friends after a day of hiking, exploring town, or enjoying all the area has to offer. The dining table seats up to eight comfortably.



The well-appointed primary suite includes a private bath with a jacuzzi tub, while the lower level features a bunk room with two twin bunks that kids will love, along with an additional queen guest bedroom with a hand-carved poster bed full of mountain charm. There is also a pullout queen sofa for additional guests if needed.



One of the best parts of Alpine Slope is the outdoor space. Relax in the hot tub under the covered pavilion off the primary bedroom, grill out under the large carport, or simply enjoy the peaceful wooded surroundings and fresh mountain air. The winding driveway and private setting give the home a tucked-away feel while still being conveniently located near Blowing Rock, Boone, App Ski Mountain, and countless hiking trails and outdoor activities throughout the High Country.



Alpine Slope is a welcoming home base for enjoying summer in the Blue Ridge Mountains, whether you're spending your days on the Parkway, exploring local shops and restaurants, or just slowing down and relaxing in the mountains.



Note: There is a camera above the front door facing the driveway.



Up to 2 dogs, less than 40 pounds, are welcome with an additional pet fee.  Your dog(s) must be fully housetrained and current on vaccinations and Flea & Tick preventative; cannot be left loose or unattended at any time; must be crated if you leave them home alone, crate(s) not supplied; pets are not allowed on the furniture and you must clean up any hair in the home upon your departure; Please make sure to clean up the yard after your dogs; if there is a hot tub, dogs are not allowed in it.

Late Check-out or Early Check-in at 1:00 PM:  Must be requested and approved 48 hours in advance. A taxable fee for approved Late Check-out and Early Check-in will be applied.
