    University group

The house was well appointed and very comfortable for our group of 7 and served well as a base of operations. It is the second time I have brought a university class to stay here. We highly recommend it!

Pleasant place, away from it all with great views

Lovely place to stay. Nice floor plan with amazing views of the valley. Great location, central to everything the area has to offer. Plenty of space for your luggage / gear. Nice size kitchen and grill. Make sure to buy your groceries in Reykjavik, limited options in the nearby area. Limited restaurants in the immediate area.

    5/5 Excellent

    Beautiful spot. Beautiful home.

Four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful spacious home. The home had everything single thing we needed. The huge windows throughout allowed sunlight to stream in. We really liked sitting at the long table in the kitchen. The landlord was very responsive before and after booking.

    Fantastic in every way!

We enjoyed our stay so much that we did not want to leave when the time came. Just a really beautiful property. Great amenities. Nice location with a spectacular view of the mountains and river. Quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting in the super clean hot tub talking and awaiting our chance to see the Northern Lights. The hosts are the best ever. Can’t think of anything they could do to improve the experience they provide for their guests.

    4/5 Good

Well Appointed Home for a Relaxing Stay

This was a very nice, modern home with a fantastic hot tub and great location on the Golden Circle. The common rooms are nicely decorated and the bedrooms/beds are very comfortable. We had 5 in our group and there was plenty of space for us to play board games, talk, listen to music on the Bose speaker, watch TV, and relax. The kitchen works very well for those who love to cook and the WiFi is good for those who need to stay in touch. A few additional considerations for those on the fence. They are not criticisms as much as notes: 1) There was just 5 of us sharing two bathrooms, but truly the second bathroom is a laundry room with a small shower, sink, and toilet. Although there are more beds (easily sleeping 8 people total), if we had 8 people in our group, it would have been very difficult with these two bathrooms. 2) We did not realize that the home would be situated along a row of homes (5 of them) on one "street". For us, coming in during the winter season, it did not present a problem since no one else was around, though we would imagine that in the summer, we would hear the neighbors if everyone was out in their respective hot tubs at the same time. 3) From a Northern Lights perspective, there is a bit too much light pollution across the river to make this a reliable choice for seeing the Northern Lights.
