Step inside your bright and airy retreat, designed for comfort and tranquillity. The open-plan living space features a modern lounge with Smart TV and WiFi, while the comfortable king-size bed is perfect for a restful night after a day of exploring.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for anything from breakfast to a celebratory dinner, including pots, pans, roasting trays, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and oil. An iron, tabletop ironing board and essential cleaning supplies are also provided.

Outside, enjoy your own fully fenced garden with a private hot tub and BBQ for al fresco dining. Guests can also enjoy the shared life-size chess set and ping-pong table, and are welcome to explore Downwood Vineyard and 40 acres of peaceful woodland paths.

You will have exclusive access to the entire Dreamwood Woodland Cottage and its private outdoor space. We respect our guests’ privacy and aim to provide a seamless, independent stay. While we are not on-site 24/7, we are always available by phone or message if needed.

Blandford Forum is around a 5-minute drive away, with supermarkets, independent shops, cafés, restaurants and traditional pubs. Dorset’s countryside, beaches and Jurassic Coast are also within comfortable driving distance.

As the property is in a peaceful rural setting, having a car is strongly recommended. Public transport is limited, although local taxis can be arranged. Private on-site parking is available.

Please note that Dreamwood is one of two identical, adjoined huts. Each has its own separate, fully fenced outdoor space, ensuring your garden and hot tub remain private and exclusive.

Nice quiet location, although to the side of the property is small area with trees which has been used to dump scrap cars, building waste, broken furniture and other junk. There is a lovely little forest and footpaths to walk from the property though. Dreamwood is compact and basic, but fully equipped with everything you would need. We found the bed and sofa too low down to the ground, which made getting up difficult. We also felt the kitchen table, chairs and footstool were too large for the space available. The property was clean but showed signs of being well used by other guests. Hot tub was lovely and maintained each day.
