The water heater only lasted 7-8 minutes. Upon checkout, I informed the staff about hot water. They told me that we would need to wait between people showering for the hot water to refill. Super friendly staff! Nice location! Restaurant was ok. The food was less than average in taste and quality. The costs were higher than it should be for subpar food.

The staffing was excellent. We would recommend however that the bath towels were bigger. We also were not provided a bath mat. The bathroom had a design that didn’t have a door to the shower and only has a very small glass panel. The result was that the water splashed on the bathroom floor and we felt unsafe with no bathmat. The floor was slippery due to no door to close when showering. There was also only one small soap provided. We used the soap for both hand washing at the sink and in the shower since there was one soap for both purposes. I don’t know if is was error or not, but we had two complimentary shampoos, but no conditioner. The room heater was not working upon arrival and we notified the office a repair was sent almost immediately. It took a half hour or so but the repair was completed and we were able to heat our room. We appreciated the prompt response and repair.

Great room, well appointed, clean. Having a restaurant/bar in the same building that has delicious food and a staff that doesn't disappoint, is a game changer. The owner is active in the daily operations and works along side the servers and bartenders with a smile and kind words. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Hubby and I stayed one night at Copperhead Lodge in room 106. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was great, staff was friendly and helpful. AC / heater worked well and on low it was quiet enough to run at night. Grounds were beautiful and pool area looked like it would be wonderful during the summer. Note: 106 is right under kitchen so it was noisy until about 10pm. We did eat dinner at Flying Trout (super delicious and great live music) so we weren't in the room much until around 9pm. We will definitely come back but probably not stay in a room under kitchen. Thinking we will rent a cabin next time. All in all, we had a wonderful experience.
