Weekend by the creek

Fantastic little place. Beautiful location, right on the creek. It was perfect to sit on the porch and just listen to it. We had the dog with us and he loved being there. Nice big field to chase the ball. 12-15 minutes to downtown Blairsville made this a perfect location to be away from it all but still close enough. A couple of items to recommend reviewing: The ceiling in the bathroom over the shower looks like the upstairs bath might have a leak. We did not use the upstairs bathroom. If you screened in the porch it would be perfect and keep out the Asian ladybugs (and mosquitos in warmer months). The website showed trails, but I could not find them, and I wasn't sure if POSTED signs were meant to keep guests away from the pond, as I would have loved to visit it. Note there were 2 coffee makers, pod and drip types. However, there were only 2 coffee pods (plenty of hot cocoa) suggest you add that to the property description. Wish we could have enjoyed another fire on Saturday but the rain put a damper on it.
