There are wonderful castles to visit from Scone Palace to Blair Atholl. Whisky lovers can enjoy sampling some of the locally produced ’water of life’ after a few distillery tours. The City of Perth, to the south, has a large selection of shops, restaurants, leisure facilities, cinema and theatre.
