The Staff here were really friendly and helpful. Its not a huge hotel but it is clean, the rooms are cosy, clean, warm, quiet and Dogs are most definitely welcome here. It is in the perfect location directly across from the beach with a lovely pub up the road serving food also dog friendly. This is definitely the perfect spot for people who are looking for a nice quiet place to rest their heads and take a break from all the activities outside just don't come here expecting 5 star quality and a lively atmosphere and you will not be disappointed as this is a down to earth, wholesome, dog friendly hotel.

Everything was great except needed a bin in the main bedroom and small one in bathroom . Clean rooms had three rooms last night of our stay closing curtains and the rail fell off ,curtains beautiful with lining but to heavy for plastic rail they were hung on .reported to reception next morning . Staff were brilliant and polite.lady singing at night entertainment on Saturday night absolutely fantastic she really made our little ones night letting them sing and dance and singing happy birthday to them a night to remember all in all a great weekend away will book again .

The room flooring creeked everytime you walked vent on wall dirty. Only one socket in the room. Only one beside light worked. Wardrobe drawer broken and handle on dressing table. Bathroom floor very uneven. Soap dish needed replaced. Open space behind the sink. The wall light didn't work. Shower tiles required regrounting. Reception was not regularly maned. Never saw staff. No bin in the bathroom for sanitory products. Very noisy hotel. Would not recommend or return.

Save your money

Very poor quality, then add another £15 per dog per night +£10 parking. We didnt even stay the night, if felt unclean, so we came home after walking the lights. Room 209 sea view.

Couldn't fault the breakfast but everything else was terrible 1/ poor standard of cleanliness - dust on deido surrounding the bed Top part of showerhead was discoloured,possible rust Carpet a bit grubby Secondly position of the toilet totally unacceptable - oversized shower area meant toilet was squeezed into a tiny space,so impossible to sit on it. Had to use toilet opposite the restaurant Thirdly,lack of space for puttong clothing Fourthly, no drinking glass in the bathroom - was an empty space for one Fifthly,very stingy with complimentary drinks and no biscuit - was just 2 tea bags,2 sachets of coffee, 3 sachets of milk and NO sweeteners - around 10 ordinary sugar sachets Sixthly,dogs continuously barking and allowed in the dining room - a big no no Lastly,large quantity of chips behind the toilet door,near the dining room

Arrived on 10 /10/25 24/7 reception NO I had to walk all around the place to find someone to check in . About 2 am we had a someone smashing our door in room 206 we were very scared and shuck up . I rang the numbers given to no one answering us I was crying at this stage . I tryed again and I told a mad in which just said I’m dealing with it. But no one came to see if we were ok my husband is 68 and I’m 62 . This was disgraceful. Next morning still nobody on desk to talk to . The rest off the time we had no sleep and a chair under the door handle . It was not worth the money and we came back early.

I wont return

The room was dated, not clean and shouldn’t be classed as a suite. The bathroom toilet had been used and not flushed/cleaned for over a week. False eyelashes/hairs and general mess was visible on carpets (not hovered). Shower leaked & was blocked with hard water deposits which were removed by my self. Bed lining was marked and the mattress so tired that they were pointless. Mattress protection was dirty and the windows so dirty that it looked constantly foggy. I took a photo to show the actual room rather than what is advertised. The staff were very good (minus the cleaner) water and front desk staff were happy, helpful and friendly.

Dingy hotel that just about makes it to one star

It's a rather dingy hotel. It needs decorating and the room was pretty thick with dust. There was a radiator in the room that clearly was not able to be turned on. The overall view is that it's quite dingy throughout and in need of a full refurb.

No shops near, room was ok but beds smelt mouldy but was clean. Sink in bathroom leaked. Switch for lamp was broken and other switch was hidden behind bed. Not enough milk for drinks and no-one on reception to get more. Parking was ok but having to pay £10 to park overnight was high as car park was on front of hotel and not secure
