Efficient check in, great ensuite double room. Airey reception/lounge area and great bar. Entertainment top class. Breakfast starter options good then cooked breakfast served to you. Every hotel employee pleasant and courteous maaking a wonderful experience overall. We will return to the Doric hotel for sure.

Parked on the pub carpark next door as there was mo space at the doric hotel cost £7 for 24 hours which was good. As we stayed in october weather wasnt good to go on the beach but we had a faur view of the sea from our room

The internet was a bit in and out in the room. Good view but quite loud music from the bar opposite but was a friday and Saturday night. Very clean and the staff very helpful and always smiling and seemed a good team.

I was on a Army Veterans Reunion for the weekend & I was able to park in the pub carpark next to the hotel for £7.50 per day, payment at the pub bar, due to the hotel parking is at a minimum, but it was no great problem. Bar was good as were the staff, and we also had 2 singers on the last night of our stay, sadly there was only around 12 of us watching as most guests had left, but the singers were great. We had to leave early before the normal breakfast time, due to having to attend a unexpected medical appointment, but the waitress (Louise) helped us out the previous evening at dinner, saying that we could get breakfast early at 7:15 with her and have some cereals, toast, yogurts, tea, coffee etc. Thanks Louise 👍🤗 All staff were great, friendly, helpful and polite. Definitely use again. Thanks

The half-board was excellent value for money with good food for dinner and breakfast. Also free entertainment and bar was excellent. The room was clean and looked recently refurbed with basic furniture as expected for the price and also had a great sea view and plenty coffees and teas. Good location with easy access to tram stop for central Blackpool. Some areas of the hotel are dated with narrow maze like corridors when I went up in wrong lift first time but otherwise a great hotel for the price.

Generally the hotel is tired. Parking is grim, we didn't even try to park in the hotel grounds. Bed was small and not overly comfortable, however bathroom was clean with decent shower and quality towels

Perfect stay with the kids the family suites are fantastic as the kids bunkbeds are in a separate area. Pool nice and warm food very good. Kids really enjoyed the childrens entertainment (Crazy Carl) Great value for money. Will definitely stay here again

A nice slightly out of the main drag hotel, most staff really friendly and helpful. All inclusive options adequate. Good value option, although I would have my doubts during school holidays, unless of course you have children!! The free tram/ bus tickets with the AI option were an added bonus

Got parked no problem and received a warm welcome at check in. Nice sea view room but with a very squeaky bathroom door and stains on the toilet seat left from the previous guest. Otherwise the room suited our needs. The hotel is warm as is stated in other reviews but there are fans in the rooms and Aircon in the dining/entertainment area. The hallway to the toilets by the dining/entertainment area stinks or urine. As does the swimming pool! We spent only 10 minutes at the pool as it just felt dirty and the smell was overwhelming. The dining staff were excellent if not a little too efficient. Too much fussing clearing plates and glasses whilst you are still eating!! We had 3 rooms and 2 of the 3 were earlier to breakfast than the 3rd room. The girl at breakfast decided (whilst we were eating) to start clearing the place settings around us. I had to say the rest of our party are on their way down and could the cutlery, cups etc be left. Breakfast wasn't ending for 90 minutes. I can understand clearing once the table has vacated but certainly not before? Entertainment was good with 2 singers and bingo. Bar service good. Dinner was tasty with fresh homemade soup and a lovely roast dinner- healthy portion. They ran out of desert so it was ice-cream or cheese. Breakfast was ok, bland. Some moans, but the hotel is fantastic value for money and the staff are a credit so we would return.
