Pellicano stands guard on one of the most scenic pieces of coastline between Grafton and Turtle Beach. The open layout moves you from room to gorgeous room with little effort. The covered live-in terrace is like a whole other room, which leads you through an arch to not one but two pools for you to 'cool off'.

With Peter the Pelican there to greet, this villa's main figurehead is mindfully placed with others from the animal kingdom, to keep guests feeling connected in the midst of true grandeur by Tobago standards. From the chess-board feel of its foyer, to the secret and special connecting space that is the heart of one of its turrets, this is one abode you won't forget. Personal photos and favorite art pieces are there to gently remind that, beneath all the finery, you are in fact spending time in another person's dream home - sharing that dream!

And if you think the inside special, wait till you see outside: the covered live-in terrace is like a whole other room, which leads you through an arch to not one but two pools for you to 'cool off'. With a well manicured garden placed between to distract, the precious topaz of the Caribbean lies encased beyond the fence. We think you will agree that The Pellicano experience is priceless and truly impressive in its difference.

The villa is located on Turtle Beach, also known as Courland Bay. The leather back turtle nesting period is from March to August. This long, dark sanded beach is great for swimming, sun-bathing and water-sports. At the other end of the bay is Fort Bennett. The Fort was built by the Dutch between 1628 and 1636. A small gazebo provides shelter and a panoramic view of Stonehaven Bay.

Our family enjoyed being in Tobago and at Pelicano. Plenty to do on the island without being too busy.
