From the apartment it is only a short walk down to the shore with good swimming and fishing. It is about 5 km to the center of Eikelandsosen, where you will find some small shops and a café. It is 2.5 km to Havsgårdsvatnet, an idyllic lake with a rowboat fishing, which can be used free of charge. The apartment is well placed for day trips to both Bergen and Hardanger.
