You can admire the entire Alpine panorama—from the Watzmann to the Jenner and on to the Kehlstein—while enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony or from the terrace with its grill. Our younger guests will love the slide and sandbox. Of course, everyone is welcome to help out with the farm work. We still have fresh milk straight from the cow. Berchtesgaden offers more than just mountaineering. In addition to hiking, mountain biking, or—in winter—sledding, downhill skiing, or cross-country skiing, there’s a wide variety of recreational activities available. The free bus takes you to many attractions, such as the salt mine, the Watzmanntherme spa, the Obersalzberg Documentation Center, or the summer toboggan run. A visit to Königssee—with a boat ride to St. Bartholomä—or to the artificial ice rink is always a memorable experience. Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall are also just 20 km away. For train travelers, there is a convenient bus service; the bus stop is just a 2-minute walk away.
