Very poor, wasn't expecting much for the price but the shower head was held up by cable ties and part of the sink was missing. Service wasn't good. But they was friendly.
I would like to thank all the staff and residents at Beechwood for a great experience. Great comfortable stay. Clean and tidy. Covid Safe as well. Beautiful grounds and great area for a walk.
Warm, good bed, bathroom TV and parking.
Late check-in no problem. Covid restrictions so I can't comment on the Hotel facilities and restaurant. Would I stay again Is the main criteria in a review and the answer is yes. One thing that could be improved is the reception front door, it bangs throughout vthe house when people enter and leave.
Right from the moment I arrived the welcome was warm and the room was clean and comfortable.
I know some of the reviews I read had some negative feedback but there are new owners now and I can already see a difference between the comments and the condition of the hotel now. There has obviously been a lot of work put in as a response to the comments and I was very impressed. I tried the restaurant and the food was excellent. Great value and first class service. I would definitely be staying there again

Amazing Value
Based on a justice of under £35,i consist this stay incredibly good value for money. The radiator in the bathroom was dangerously hot and close to the loo, the walls were thin and were cold heat from other rooms and the curtain pole could have benefited from some attention. Otherwise, brilliant
No disabled parking spaces.long way from rear car park to reception.they last minute changed room to ground floor. Bed not made no sheets. Wet towels on bed. Told employee she fetched man gave us room next door. Bath panel broken. Big holes in end of it.needs nets at window. As room outside saw me sitting on bed? Kettle won’t go under washbasin tap to fill.had to fill with cup.Loo would not stop filling. Then noises muppets next door played ball with their dog 3am. No one said anything. Then receptionist who is loud woke me 0845Am. Picture on your site showed shower. Got bath with dirty grout. Man then painting in foyer. No door open. Fumes made me asthmatic. Don’t ask tired.
As a working man working away from home this was perfect,
Don’t judge me on the working bit. If you was in Coventry for a wedding or what ever this is a nice place to stay. Really helpful and friendly staff, rooms cleaned every day and good food in a country side surroundings.
I only wish I had found this place when I started working here six weeks ago, there is some rubbish places believe me.
My stay at The Beechwood was fantastic. The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. I will have no hesitation to book or recommend this hotel again!
Great value.
Staff were friendly and professional.
Peaceful location.
Bed was comfy. Slept well. Room was small but clean. Clean bathroom.
Meals were half price is restaurant which was a bonus.
Communal corridors, stairs etc looked a little tired. Signs advising under renovation.
Would stay here again for the price i paid.

Undergoing renovation and it needs more-much more
The place is undergoing renovation, and it does need it - quite outdated, but fairly clean. Very comfy bed in room 221. my mate said his bathroom was not great (room 222). The bar person didn't know how to open a bottle of wine with a corkscrew (wine waiter). The food was OK. The Wifi didn't work - connected only in reception, and dropped the connection almost immediately. All in all, just OK.
A nice quiet location with new updated rooms and a great comfortable bed.... bathroom could’ve been a bit bigger with a more powerful shower but not a problem.
Great service at check in by Melissa who made sure I had everything I needed or wanted.
Would definitely stay again when I’m the area.
DO NOT GO HERE! There was prostitution, drug dealing and child exploitation at the hotel. I called the Police to report it. The Police stated they had received 4 other calls with the same complaint. I was nearly attacked by the drug dealers, there had been 3 rooms 8th July 2020 with a dozen or more men who were drunk and being serviced by the prostitutes. An 8-9 year old child was screaming in the corridor as she had been locked out of a room where here Mother was (218) who was at this time, taking drugs and performing sexual acts. The other 2 rooms in question were 208 and 211. The overnight security / reception operative tried his best to quieten down these disgusting individuals but was in fear for his safety, as I was being as my room was opposite the main one in the building on the 1st floor. The Police arrived in the early hours, did not arrest anyone. I reported all of the above as I felt it was a significant safeguarding issue, there was also a baby screaming in room 218 throughout. Lots of drink was brought into the 'so-called' hotel for consumption as well as the drug abuse from approx. 11pm. A women who resides there ran out to the police and tried to smooth over what actually happened, she was involved. I interrupted her to tell the Police that she was covering up serious criminality. It had affected residents staying at The Beechwood Hotel which included benefits people. I had been abused in the bar when trying to order food on the 1st night!!!
Stayed before and was disappointed. This time the room was a lot nicer, bed was super comfy and the staff couldn’t do more for us.
Only issue was the shower curtain rail was a bit rusted again not a major issue.
Also the room had a kettle and sachets of tea/coffe but no mugs, (staff would have provided us if we phoned the desk but I didn’t want to bother them as i already had asked for plates the night before).
The lady on reception was lovely and helpful!
All in all a worthwhile stay!
For the price it's ok but not meeting the standar.
Not so good. There were no table or chairs in the room. The kettle and the Tea cups kept on a small wall stand and cable of the kettle was not long enough to plug it in to the wall socket. Therefore we had to keep the kettle on the floor which wasn't a safer arrangement. No bin in the room but one small bin was in the toilet.
