Staff were lovely. Great breakfast options. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve been in but was ok. The big negative about the stay and the reason for the star rating was a terrible smell in the room. It hit you as soon as you opened the door, it wasn’t a dirty smell but very unpleasant.

Air com doesnt work

On the hotest days of the year you would think that their air con would work. The ac in the room wouldnt go below 19c!!! Zto say it was stiffling in the room was an understatement. Even in the breakfast area they had mobile fan units on to try and cool it down - that didnt work either. !:-(

The staff were amazing. Lady working the bar and following two breakfast shifts was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious. We stayed in the accessible room and unfortunately the smells from the bathroom drains were particularly potent which impacted our comfort.
