Little disappointing

Breakfast was poor, staff limited. The trays of food all empty and this was at 8am, had to wait for refills and the queue was growing with customers wanting breakfast.

Road noise

This Holiday Inn is exactly as you would expect. Basic but adequate rooms with everything you need. Ironing board and kettle in room but no fridge. On a main road with lots of options for food nearby but no on site restaurant for anything other than breakfast. A lot of road noise, particularly ambulances throughout the night.

Disappointing

The accommodation was ok. I had (inexplicably) been given a disabled room which was a good size and reasonably quiet as it was located at the rear of the building. The bar is basic, unfriendly and is purely functional. The restaurant is dreadful. The menu offers very little unless it's microwavable. The service is non existent and the area designated for eating feels grubby with a lack of attention. Breakfast was better although the buffet was a mess and lacked staff attention.
