Breakfast is self service with lots of options available. Fridge well stocked with milk, yoghurts, spreads etc. The room was a good size and the bed extremely comfortable. Shower and bathroom all in working order.

A good selection left out for a continental breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean. Excellent grounds for walking the dogs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My stay was self check in as I had a late arrival but they were on hand to guide me.

Very friendly and helpful check in. The property is a listed building and has a history detailed in the rooms. It is being slowly modenised and hopefully will retain its charm. Currently it does not have en-suite rooms which will put some off no doubt and the breakfast is completely self service right down to boiling your own eggs if you want them and loading the dishwasher when done. Gluten free cereal was among the multiple choices but no GF bread for some toast which was a shame. I enjoyed my overnight stay and would happily stay again should I be in the area as there was peace and quiet in secluded grounds.

This property surpassed expectations. The host met us on arrival, was very friendly and provided us with lots of recommendations for places for food. The bed was extremely comfortable and bedding lovely! The choice of food available for breakfast was amazing, I’ve never seen a continental breakfast set up like it. Unfortunately we were in the area for a poker tournament, so didn’t get the chance to spend a lot of time at the property, but we will definitely be returning should we visit the area again!

What a fabulous place, and so good that the dog is allowed too. The garden was beautiful and the view was equally as amazing. Breakfast was very good though self service this works well. Gorgeous building but it could do with some tlc. Our room was good but had to walk down the hall to use the bathroom.. We would return here if we are in the area again. But would be nice to see some improvements to the rooms and interior of the building. Staff very friendly.
