The breakfast was good for your standard hotel breakfast. Food always felt fresh. The lobby looks very nice but it doesn’t translate to the amenities inside the room. I wish the water feature was working as that’s one of the reasons I booked the property.

Older but nice

For the money, this was a nice stay. It is an older hotel, but it is being kept up. Two things concerned me. First when having breakfast, the lady stocking dropped a coffee lid on the floor, picked it up and put it on the stack. She stood there for a few seconds to try to figure out what she should do. She should have thrown it out. Second, the tv channel that was being shown in the breakfast room was of political opinions. This country is divided enough without having to watch one side or the other at breakfast. Get something more entertaining or turn it off please.

It was a very welcoming atmosphere when you came in. The property gives the vibes of a buy gone luxury hotel. Our room was comfortable, quiet and the beds were clean. If only the stain stains on the carpet have been cleaned up or if they change the carpet to vinyl or something it would be a lot better experience. That was really the only offputting thing is that they were stains on the carpet.

Upon arrival my husband was weary at first. The front desk girl seemed nice but began laughing at a sign that was for there “old system” regarding debit card usage. We went to dinner and outside of the hotel was a hooker trying to pick up the construction workers staying at the hotel. My thought is at one point in the 80s this hotel was beautiful. The room smelled musty and the carpet had stains everywhere. I do not recommend.
