Positively tremendous location to stay for a night when traveling through the Utah Arizona area. Lovely amenities and it truly pleasant staff. Would recommend to families and traveling couples.
Such a wonderful experience. Felt safe as a solo traveler. Appreciated all of the little touches to make this place so great! Highly recommend and would stay again!
The stay was great! Check in and out was easy. Accommodations were exactly what we wanted with pluses to include the warm wood burning stove in the tent and access to coffee early 6 am. We did eat at the site and found the food to be excellent. We definitely recommend UCLP to anyone!
The stay is very unique and definitely worth it. Only bad experience, I would highlight is the guy who checked was bit rude and felt like he wasn’t truthful. He gave us rooms all the way
The service was impeccable and extraordinarily friendly. Every member of staff we encountered was warm and bright, and gave excellent recommendations. The tent was lovely and the whole experience actually felt like a true, quiet retreat. +1 for extreme dog friendliness to include multiple water bowls laid around the main tent.
This was an amazing experience and resort. The staff were so friendly, personable and attentive to details. A perfect place for a quiet relaxing retreat with friends, family or couples.
The bed was very comfortable, the tent was clean and even with the hot 37C + weather during the day, the temperature in the tent cooled off to a perfectly comfortable sleeping temperature. Everything was clean and well maintained.
The restaurant’s food was delicious and the star gazing was unreal. We are already planning a return trip to one of Under Canvas’ other locations and hope to bring our kids along next time!
We had an amazing experience at Under Canvas Lake Powell. The staff were friendly and helpful, the activities kept the kids entertained, and the coffee and food were excellent. The evening marshmallows were a big hit with the children. Highly recommend!
Funny story. We got there at 6pm in the middle of summer so the tent felt like 100 degrees and I immediately thought that we would not be able to handle the heat or sleep there. At 10pm the temp had dropped to around seventy something, with the small personal fans provided, we were able to sleep well. We decided we would stay and try to "survive" since it was only for 3 nights. We decided to spend the days out doing stuff (so much to do around). The last day we didn't want to leave! LOVE this place.
The casual but well thought out setting of the site is what we loved. So much closer to nature than a hotel.
The team were super friendly.
We had a lovely walk down to the canyon at the foot of the site.
Free coffee in the morning and free smores in the evening was a lovely idea!
Loved the camp fire setting to gather around at night too. We would highly recommend!
