I recommend this hotel

Breakfast provided was good not great. Laundry facilities were perfect. Air conditioner cycled on and off all night which was a bit annoying. Front desk personnel were friendly and very helpful.

The check in staff was excellent. While checking we talked with the husband and wife working the desk. They gave many very good recommendations for eating and told us once we had settled in our room to come back and they would give us information that would be helpful about seeing Yellowstone National Park and the town of West Yellowstone.

This property is very close to the West gate of Yellowstone and convenient to walking to restaurants and shops. Very good breakfast and friendly front desk staff.

The breakfast has hot food like ham, sausage, scrambled eggs and oatmeal but they are stored and kept warm in plastic lining inside hot containers. That’s toxic for human health even if the plastics are food grade. I think Plastic bags linings were used so they wouldn’t have to wash the inner metal containers. One kitchen staff looked like she always had bad days.

Advertising for hotel was embellished. Hotel in poor repair. Condition of hotel did not warrant the high price for a room. The only justification for their pricing was proximity to the west entrance. Would not use this hotel in the future.

I would stay somewhere else.

Staff was great, the bed was comfortable. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo like unit, not needed for 2 night stay. Dirty floors, dirty bathroom walls, doors and grout. Mold below shower head in bedroom bathroom. No teaspoons, no knobs on cabinets in bedroom bath.

Location is about 1/2 mile from majority of restaurants, shops. Easy walk. We had an issue with a malfunctioning and very noise AC unit. Told the front desk and within an hour had a new unit installed. Impressed with the speed of the fix. Breakfast was great too.

This may be a minor detail, but the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean, very nice place. But the pillows? not so much.
