This hotel was very kitschy. Hasn’t been renovated in probably 25 yrs. Was clean and beds were comfortable which is very important! We were disappointed in the breakfast. No protein was included and was all pastry and flour based foods that are sugary and horrible for diabetics and healthy contentious (my husband and myself) people. Cost was very high due to demand so we expected a high quality breakfast. I still recommend it but just be aware.

Comfortable room with dining options & shops within easy walking distance. Friendly staff & a large breakfast room. Breakfast was fresh and included pastries, yoghurt, fruit, waffles and cerals. The only minor disappointment with the cleanliness of the room was the carpet around the wardrobe & bathroon needed a better vacuuming, as there was thick dust around the edges and kickboards. Otherwise a throughly enjoyable stay

Overall good stay

Overall, we had a good stay here. The point of our trip was to visit Yellowstone, and this hotel (and the town) is within minutes outside of the West entrance of the park. The hotel is also within walking distance of many shops and restaurants (though you could probably walk anywhere within the town of West Yellowstone). It’s an older building but has charm and was clean overall. Has a cozy lobby with fireplace and board games. Continental breakfast was decent with all of the typical offerings. Lots of street parking available and even has a small parking garage that’s free with your stay. My only complaint is that our room was pretty warm, even with the AC set to 60 degrees, and the AC unit was very noisy.

I loved everything about this property. I didn’t realize it is a historic building. As soon as you enter the lobby, you realize that this place s special. The lobby is actually a “great room” with high ceilings, couches and chairs in front of a fireplace, a grand staircase curving up to the rooms on the second floor. It all has an old world Western feel, with sophistication. The staff is welcoming and very friendly and helpful. The rooms are wonderful with a lot of room and equipped with anything you might need. Beds are like sleeping on a cloud. A breakfast is included in a nice dining area. Location is perfect. You are in a town with many restaurant options and shops, but most importantly, only a couple minute drive into the Western entrance into Yellowstone. If I hear of anyone visiting Yellowstone, the Stage Coach Inn is what I would recommend.

The toilet in the room was the shortest I had ever seen. Could have used a grab bar. The breakfast could offer more than just pastries and other sweets. How about some sausage and scrambled eggs for people that can't have sweets.

Hotel near west Yellowstone entrance

The hotel was near the west Yellowstone entrance which was less than a mile away. You could walk to the market and nearby restaurants. The city was small, safe, and quiet. The stay included a continental breakfast and on-site laundry was available.

The room was very dirty with crumbs on the table, dirt on the floor, smelled like mildew, filthy bathroom. Staff just gave me a weird look and said, “Oh” when I told them about the dirty room. Location was great though, Would not recommend.
