Welcome to Powder & Pines, your home in the heart of Saddle Ridge at Moonlight Basin.
This is the kind of place that works for everyone. Families, friend groups, couples who want their own space but still want to be together. Eight guests, three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and ski-in/ski-out access right from the front door. It just works.
The main level is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. A stone fireplace anchors the open concept living area, the plush furniture pulls you in, and the upper deck opens up to mountain views that genuinely stop you in your tracks. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and has everything you need to cook a real meal. The dining area fits the whole group comfortably, which means family style dinners are not just possible, they are inevitable.
When the day is done, head down to the lower deck and sink into the private hot tub. The sky above Moonlight Basin on a clear night is something else entirely.
The master suite on the upper level has a king bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a twin sleeping nook tucked in for younger guests or light packers. The lower level has a queen bedroom and a twin over double bunk, plus a full bathroom. A half bath on the main level rounds everything out so mornings never feel like a scramble.
In winter, click into your skis and you are on the mountain in minutes. In summer, the same trails that draw skiers become some of the best hiking and biking in Montana. Big Sky Resort, Moonlight Basin, Yellowstone just down the road. Powder & Pines puts you right in the middle of all of it.
This is your base camp. Make it count.
Winter
Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it delivers for every level of skier and rider. When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the #1 cross-country ski resort in North America. Beyond that, Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and world-class spa experiences are all within easy reach.
Summer
The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world-class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season.
