Our Grade II listed home is less than a minute from the beach. Popping with personality, this vibrant, newly refurbished cottage offers a light and airy space to enjoy the historic fishing village and estuary.
In keeping with the bright houses of Irsha Street, this cottage is as colourful on the inside as it is on the outside. Blending original features with a modern zest, it is the ideal place to feel uplifted as you relax and soak in the wonderful coastline. Whether you wish to savour the coastal activities or put your feet up and unwind, this home will embrace you.
With history on your doorstep, you are only a short stroll from the RNLI Lifeboat Station, rockpools and beach, and a few minutes’ walk from the quayside, artisanal shops, delicatessen and friendly, family-run cafes.
Our spacious, historic cottage, located in the heart of Appledore’s conservation area, is idea for couples and families.
Original features throughout, like its encaustic floor tiles bidding you welcome as you step through the hallway, and period fireplace and coving in the sitting room ensuring you feel cosy, this warm, charming home will ensure you feel comfortable during your stay.
With a king size bedroom and two double bedrooms, along with its sitting room and dining room, you will find plenty of room to get together and socialise or to kick back and relax. Guests enjoy two bathrooms, one en suite to the Master bedroom and a family bathroom on the ground floor.
Our garden area is also a great place to spend time, whether you want to sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the coastal birds or wish to dine al fresco, its generous size is perfect.

There are three Pay & Display car parks - 25 yards, 335 yards 975 yards away . All offer hourly, daily and weekly parking and weekly tourist tickets can be purchased online giving you access to other Torridge District car parks.
