Foldyard - sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

You enter into the kitchen dining room which features a fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob, electric oven and microwave. There is a large table with 4 chairs and additional matching chairs are in the bedrooms if needed. The sitting room is lovely and light with two windows, there are beams, an oak floor and matching light oak furniture. A colourful comfortable rug and soft Multiyork sofas add colour to the room, for entertainment there is Free Sat HD TV, a dvd player, a Hi-fi with iPod dock, books and games. The cottage is heated by eco-friendly underfloor heating and there is a lovely feature wood burner with glass sides giving great views of the fire.
The master bedroom is a superking - which can be set up as a twin if required, the second twin room can also be converted to an extra king. This flexibility makes the cottage ideal for either a family, four friends or two couples. There is no room in this cottage for a put up bed but a travel cot will fit in the master bedroom. The bathroom is one of our stunning wetrooms with level access shower fully tiled with travertine, we provide a baby bath in this cottage. See our floor plan on one of the information tabs above.
Foldyard cottage can be connected to the adjacent Barn House to form the High Barn 6 bedroom cottage for larger parties of up to 12. The cottages connect via two doors in the kitchen walls - when not open both these doors are securely locked (we hold the keys) and additional insulation is used in the space between the doors. This ensures guests privacy, security and peace and quiet!
Outside the cottage has a lovely large garden with patio area for outside dining, there is a large feature pergola with grapevines which guests are welcome to sample. Parking for 2 cars.
If this 2 bedroom cottage is not suitable for your needs we do have the Stables or the Forge - if all our 2 bedroom cottages are booked we sometimes let the larger cottages on a low occupancy basis so it is always worth emailing or calling to see if we have an alternative available.
We do accept some dogs at the cottages but please ask for details as we have some doggy house rules, there is an additional charge of £25 per dog and a maximum of 2 dogs per booking. You can not book your dogs in via Homeaway as their system will not charge for them - please contact Elaine for a quote.
Please note that the Homeaway system estimates prices for short breaks over 3 nights, best to ask for a price for stays of 4 - 6 nights to ensure that you get the best deal. Also there may be an occasion when the Homeaway price has not transferred through correctly and we may have to adjust the price before accepting a booking request.
