Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Disliked: Cleanliness
After spending over £500 on our special weekend away. The front door was broken and very heavy to pull open and walk through the room was nice well presented but I was very disappointed on the restaurant on our room card and on checking in it stipulated food was served until 20:30 we turned up at 8 only to be told they had changed the times the week before did show them our room card but it was out of their hands so we had to have a taxi into the town.
Overall for the price very disappointing.
A lovely hotel with very helpful, friendly staff. The food in the bar was excellent with good service. Easy walking distance to a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely relaxing spa facilities after a day out walking. Good central location for walkers. Accomodation was comfortable and clean. Would give it a higher rating than 3 star. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Parking was good staff were helpfull.
Room wasn’t a deluxe lodge as stated very over due a make over and it was 2 single beds put together which I find wrong when stated it’s a double room!
A lovely area to stay. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Free parking. Rooms were comfortable, hotel had excellent dining facilities, bar and reception area. Attached spa was perfect.
Spa was great nice little gym. Bar area lovely breakfast great. 10 min gentle walk into town , chalets might benefit a little from a makeover but clean and comfortable
Lovely hotel with excellent lodge rooms too. Lovely bar and restaurant area, serving a very good menu. On-site leisure club is very good and has a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
Excellent staff, always happy to help and always cheerful.
Overall an excellent hotel to explore from in North Wales.
I stayed in one of the lodges at the back of the hotel, which is fully refurbished, spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. Each lodge also has its own parking space right outside the front door.
The hotel facilities make it feel more like a 4 star hotel. It has an impressive gym and pool/spa, the restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is cooked to order. Also great service from all the staff.
Stayed here a few times. Usually a quick and friendly check in, was a bit slow this time. Would have been good to know adding spa access was only from check until midday on check-out day before booking.
Also, that Mondays a ‘bring your baby to pool day’. The first day we spent a couple of hours in the spa and it was so busy we could only use the pool. The second day was baby day and the hot-tub jacuzzi was broken. So, didn’t feel like the extra for the spa was worth it this time round.
Lovely hotel and perfect area because it was close to zipworld and the hiking trails to snowden. Hotel staff was nice and helpful and love that they were pet friendly
We stayed in a lovely little lodge adjacent to the hotel. It backed on to the railway line. But even that was not an issue. It was quiet and comfortably furnished with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was served in the main dining room and it was lovely.
A great property for exploring Snowdonia. We stayed in a superior lodge and loved that we had an outside patio as well a sofa - the room was a brilliant size!
