We love the Wayside Inn. The service and breakfast are exceptional. The property is a little tired but we see improvements every time we stay here.

Sarah was very friendly.The property manager (didn"t get his name) was wonderful. He made a delicious breakfast. The room overlooking the river was perfect. The only thing that could have been better was the dining room, very cave like. The dinner menu was limiting and not really good.

We love the Wayside Inn! We’ve been staying 2-3 times a year for 4 years. The rooms a lovely; the inn is cozy; the included breakfast is delicious, as is the restaurant for dinner. The view from the dining room is beautiful every season. Sarah, the owner, and her family are absolute delights-it’s a privilege to have gotten to know them a bit over the years-and we look forward to many more years of visits.

Our stay was fine, just not much to do around this area. Not enough places to eat or visit. This property sits next to a river which is an advantage because of the view. An old place, reminded me of grandmas place. The best part was the jacuzzi which came in handy after a long day travel.

Lovely room and location. We had a river view in the Annex which was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with a few choices on the menu and the option to add extras such as pancakes for a couple of dollars. Dining room has stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Would recommend to anyone.

The view saves this place.

our group had 2 annex rooms for 2 nights. The view off the balconies was great, that was the saving grace of our stay. One room did not have heat and they were given a space heater and told it would be fixed the next day, but it wasn't. The other room had a shattered plastic shower bar with sharp plastic pieces on floor to step on. Pillows very flat, mattresses OK at best. Both rooms were tired looking. Breakfast service very slow, the server was in the room busy clearing tables but didn't even bring us coffee for over a 1/2 hour, then the pot was cold, all the food was cold by the time it got to us. The bar was open when we checked in but about to close, it was never open our second night, so relaxing with a cocktail wasn't possible like we expected.
