The innkeeper and the entire staff were very friendly, accommodating and efficient. The breakfast and dinner offerings were delicious. The decor was just what we were expecting in a rural inn. We would definitely stay here again.

The view saves this place.

our group had 2 annex rooms for 2 nights. The view off the balconies was great, that was the saving grace of our stay. One room did not have heat and they were given a space heater and told it would be fixed the next day, but it wasn't. The other room had a shattered plastic shower bar with sharp plastic pieces on floor to step on. Pillows very flat, mattresses OK at best. Both rooms were tired looking. Breakfast service very slow, the server was in the room busy clearing tables but didn't even bring us coffee for over a 1/2 hour, then the pot was cold, all the food was cold by the time it got to us. The bar was open when we checked in but about to close, it was never open our second night, so relaxing with a cocktail wasn't possible like we expected.

Pros: quaint furniture, large room, goid service, nice dining and sitting rooms downstairs. Cons: old jet bathtub and bad showerhead, hard creaky bed. No fridge, freezer (in room), or tv. Available downstairs but inconvenient.

The room was nice but the bed was horrible. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything as could anyone passing by could hear everything inside the rooms. We enjoyed the games they had available and the restaurant was decent.

BNB with good food rooms not so much.

Unfortunately for me the room i booked in the main house became under repair for whatbibwas told was plumbing issues. Which is understandable but was not given any communication prior to arriving about this situation. My wife and i were given a room in the annex with 2 double beds (originally booked a queen) but had a view of the creek was the "sell point" of the room swap. That creek was the only upsell of the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable night as well slept on the floor with a blanket. I got very little sleep that night. The bathroom shower/toilet was about the size of one of those handicap outhouses. Super cramped and the sink was outside the bathroom in small alcove that the door swung into. The room was very outdated but looked like the entry deck was recently updated (new wood and underlayment) The creek again was the only saving grace. The view from the 2nd story was relaxing and the sound was very soothing. Unfortunately the annex is smoking area (still non smoking room) so I had to deal with the smell from time to time of people outside smoking. We chose to eat dinner at the hotel since we arrived late we were immediately seated. Food was really good cocktails seemed themed for the season. No discount given for staying at the hotel and not even for our forced room downgrade/swap. (A free app or dessert would have been sufficient) Over all the stay was good for the overnight pass though to a longer vacation elsewhere but will not stay again
