We had a nice stay in Bern. The hotel is very well located, with quick walk to the main tourist attractions in the old town, and easy access to the tram. We had a rental car since it was said that parking was ''available''. turns out there is one expensive place for the whole hotel, otherwise we have to park in a public Parkin nearby for a high fee, or try to find a blue zone street parking and buy a parking card in the hotel. It did work out but was not ideal. Breakfast was ok but cold items only. Room was small but confortable and clean.

Very kind lady at the front desk who helped us with checking in, parking, the public transport and choosing dining options. The rooms are nice and the atmosphere is really cozy as well! Would stay here longer if we could!

Breakfast was good. Location was perfect, no need for a car as a tram stop is in front of the hotel. Restaurants and shops are nearby. Check in/out was quick and efficient. They don’t have a parking garage but there is a public one for 35 francs for the whole day about 1.5 blocks away. No complaints. Will stay there again

A nice place to relax.

We had a relaxing time here. Being close to the train terminal helps. I recommend you buy a plug adapter since what we brought from the U.S. was not a match. The front desk lady was helpful. The breakfast was continental, but not a breakfast that takes orders. Though our room faced the main road, it wasn't loud as night fell. The rooms were clean and relaxing. This is a good place I would return.

I stayed in a small single room on the 4th floor for two nights. My room was simple but very neat and clean. The layout is a bit strange. Breakfast is ok, but limited. My main challenge was the noise level and long check-in time. On the second night the noise was extremely loud from the theatre near the hotel. It stopped a bit after 11pm but the room was definitely not sound proof and it made for a non-peaceful evening in my room. I also thought it was overpriced for a small single room. But it definitely felt safe.

All staff made us feel very welcome and no question was too much trouble for them. Suggestions were also made to allow us to save money. Great location, a short walk from the main train station and only a few blocks from the old town area. We used the Bern Welcome ticket to take a tram from almost right outside the hotel to the Gurtenbahn and had a lovely lunch at the top and rode the Rodelbahn Had a lovely time in Bern and would stay here again.
