worst ever hotel

If it is a no star hotel, I think it's okay, but if it's classified itself as two stars, it doesn't worth it. Having one room altered from the emergency exit and a door like wall inside the shower room make me feel so uncomfortable during my stay!!

Just okay

An old hotel. Not run down or in bad shape, just old and not very pretty to look at. But the room was clean, the staff friendly and the hotel is located very nicely in the middle of Bern, 5 minutes from train station, in a very quiet neighbourhood.

Perfect location.. You can walk to anywhere in old Bern very easily. The street side of the hotel can be noisy at night so keep that in mind.The staff was very helpful and nice

Right in the middle of the city center

It was in the great location, right in the middle of the city center and close to everything. The room was big enough and clean. Also the bathroom was huge and there was the bath tub too. Only thing was water didn't get hot and was not able to take shower when I checked in, so I asked to the front desk to fix it. And everything was fine after that. Very convenient location for great price. I will def. recommend to my friends and will stay here again!

The location of this hotel was excellent; right in the heart of Bern, Switzerland, surrounded by shopping, and a short walking distance from the main train station. Unfrotunately, the price was a bit high for a very simplistic room and cold water in the shower. That being said, the hotel was clean.

The room is too small

The room is too small. And the front desk service is not professional enough. Their attitude is not so welcome,when I agave doubt if I have paid the room already, they appear impatience and doesn't explain clear enough. Sounds like they think I will not pay them or anything. Terrible experience.i definitely wil not stay here next time .

Hotel continental

Locate in walking distance to the main train and metro station. Minutes walking from shops and restaurant. We got a nice room on the top floor and staff is friendly. I really want to give this hotel 5 stars however, if you are a light sleeper like I am , this may not be a good choice and this is why I only gave 4 stars. Both my husband wake up by loud noises around 6 in the morning and later we found out it was the noises from unloading the truck for the convenient store downstairs. The second night we could barely sleep . People were gathered drinking and parting below our building. It was so loud we could not sleep even our room is on the fifth floor ( the top floor) . The screaming and yelling finally ended at 3 am then 3 hours later the trucker unloading noises started again . I really want to like this hotel , convenient location , decent room and friendly staff . But because these noises, I don't think I will stay there again .

this a bad experinece. staying at a room that is defind teh the safty exit of teh hotel sound bad and was bad. i have found a group of hear under my pellow, the batheroom was dirty. brekefest was very poor. one would expect that in sewizerlan you will have more than one typ eof cheas.the only good thing about this hote it its location.

The location is strategic, at the center of the city, closed to the halpbanroft and historic landmarks. Good price and services.

the room was ok the television did not work and there was no tea making facilities in the room i missed a safe deposit box also. an excellent location in the centre of town and i would recomend the breakfast.

Great Hotel for everyone

Great Hotel in between the lake and old town. They give you a daily bus pass so it's easy to get to the lake or old town. You could walk to either. Be careful about breakfast, they charged us $25 each when we thought we were having a basic breakfast. I guess the basic breakfast must be 1 cup of coffee only.

Well situated and comfortable

Had a good time, hotel is central with easy walking distance to a vast amount of sights. Staff helpful and efficient, practical and good breakfast in addition.

ideally located for sightseeing in Bern

excellent reception staff, very helpful. good service, excellent location. basic hotel and accommodation but clean and comfortable. bright and airy dining room serving good breakfasts.

The only good thing about this hotel was breakfast. The room was not that good. The toilet should have been changed. Wifi was not free. The hotel was a little bit far from the central station although in a walking distance.
