Would highly recommend if you’re taking part in the marathon as it’s right next to an underground station which makes it very easy to travel to/from the start/finish line.

This is one of the nicest central hotels I think I’ve stayed in! Really comfortable room, clean and well cared for. Bathroom was a good size. Bed was lovely. Nice central location, right outside the subway stop! I’ll be back!

Poor Neighborhood

Hotel itself was great, small rooms of course. Staff were all great. Never had to wait in line to talk to them. It was nice being right next to a Subway station with good connectivity however the neighboorhood was poor. We had heard this area was more trendy and hipster, the reality is it's more drug addicts, constant sirens, piles of broken glass and so on. We wish we had stayed in Friedrichshain which was much nicer and more interesting plus has the Brown Subway line which is the main line for tourist sites and major train stations.

Whislt the hotel name suggests a central location it really is on the fringe of Mitte. This was ideal for me as I wated to explore Kreuzberg, but go more central if you really want to be Mitte based. Hotel was fine. Small but clean room. For a mid priced hotel the facilities are very basic. No kettle in room, in fact not even a cup or glass, just a small paper cup. Breakfast was ok. Staff friendly and efficient. Overall was satisfactory, ,but I left feelig there was probably better value to be had elsewhere, but at least you know what you are getting with Motel One.

It’s an ok place for a short stay. Small rooms, breakfast is not impressive. No scramble eggs, only boiled. But nice restaurand/waiting area to work.

This was an excellent hotel, specially for the price. Normal size hotel rooms, actually more spacious than others. modern furniture. Very welcoming lobby appearance and staff. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. A mini super market very close by, but nothing really else is close. I used the train a ton and the U-Bahn is just steps away, along with the bus stop, so that was a huge perk for me. Also a 10 minute walk from Kruezberg night life. Would definitely stay here again!
