We did online check in before we arrived as we knew it would be late. However that didn’t save anytime at all but the again the man on reception was not helpful or friendly at all. If my wife answered a question he ignored her and would only accept if from myself. We have used Intercity hotels before due to always receiving a travel card when paying your city tax, however he said they were no longer available due to new owners. Half an hour later he phoned our room to say on this occasion they would honour it!
We stayed again later in the week and a different person on check in, she said we got the travel card if we were H rewards members!
Not the best Intercity hotel but location was convenient. Breakfast was average.
