We did online check in before we arrived as we knew it would be late. However that didn’t save anytime at all but the again the man on reception was not helpful or friendly at all. If my wife answered a question he ignored her and would only accept if from myself. We have used Intercity hotels before due to always receiving a travel card when paying your city tax, however he said they were no longer available due to new owners. Half an hour later he phoned our room to say on this occasion they would honour it! We stayed again later in the week and a different person on check in, she said we got the travel card if we were H rewards members! Not the best Intercity hotel but location was convenient. Breakfast was average.

Best cheap and cheerful stay around

I love this brand of hotels for cheap, clean, reliable business or overnight travel. Okay don't book your special anniversary here sure but its the cheapest reliable hotel company in germany. Internet is stupidly fast and if you hate hotel firewalls then this is the place for you. 500mb/s internet speeds

Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und ordentlich. Vor allem das Licht ist gemütlich. Leider ist das Internet sehr schlecht. Intercity verfügt nicht über ein System, das die Verbindung gewährleistet. Das ist zum Arbeiten oder für Handygebrauch zu schwach respektive unzuverlässig. Die Knöpfe beim Lift sind seit meinem letztem Aufenthalt hier (vor ein paar Monaten) noch nicht repariert worden. Schade für eine renommierte Kette wie diese ...

Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Saubere Zimmer, ordentlich. Schönes Lichtkonzept. Zum Optimieren: Für so eine grosse Hotelkette sehr schlechter Internetzugang. Musste ich via persönlichem Hotspot nutzen.

Nice and calm

Generous conditions with usable traintickets if you got member. A lot of nice fruits were offered and good service. Quiet room, quiet hotel. Close to train. We are satified and can absoluty come back!

Bra läge vid (i) Ostbahnhof. Lätt att ta sig till och från flygplatsen och sen ut på de olika dagsutflykterna. Ett stort plus är att man som medlem i deras kundklubb får gratis dagsbiljetter till kollektivtrafiken. Trevlig personal. Bra frukost. Jag åkte med mina två barn och vi trivdes. Rummet var stort och extrasaängen var en ordentligt bäddsoffa, vilket min yngsta dotter uppskattade. Det var tyst och stilla så vi kunde sova bra.
