Good value for money. The location is great, next to Kleiner Tiergarten and close to an underground, tram and bus lines. The hotel is old and poorly maintained; the carpets are in terrible condition, and the shower screen was unhinged. Staff were borderline rude; I tried to check in and I stood in front of them for about 90 seconds and instead of saying 'hello, please give us a minute, we'll be with you shortly', they just ignored me.

Room was clean, staff were exceptional, and location is great. It is an older building with lots of character. Tram and bus are right out front. 4 tram stops from the hauptbahnhof. Great neighborhood with a park and Biergarten right across the street. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff were really helpful and smiley. While the hotel was rather hidden (hard to find when we first got there) and overall needs a refresher, the room we got was really big so it was comfortable for 3 - 4 person!
