The room was excellent—spotlessly clean, very quiet, and comfortable. We stayed in a junior suite on the sixth floor facing the inner courtyard, and it was a peaceful retreat. However, I was disappointed that the hotel didn’t respond to several emails asking for guidance on the best way to reach the property from BER Airport. After a long journey, the self-service check-in system also felt frustrating to use; at that point, I would have preferred assistance from a staff member, especially when you’re tired and can’t find your reading glasses. We also hoped to use the sauna, but it was switched off. A staff member informed us that guests need to request this in advance so it can be turned on, which isn’t something I’ve encountered before—I normally expect to use such facilities at my own convenience. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, with the U2 station nearby offering easy access to many major attractions. Despite a few inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Hotel Berlin, Berlin.

The hotel was just okay. A bit dated and an awful check in experience. No staff to speak to you upon arrival - impersonal touch screens only. We had specified a twin room and lo and behold ended up being given a double room. This inconvenience could probably be have avoided if there’d been someone on check in. No milk in the room and very narrow single beds and thin duvets.

I had a really nice short stay here. The room was clean and comfy and the restaurant food and drinks were GREAT (Mushroom Pasta was delicious). It's in a great location and so many things in the area that are walkable... Loved it

Ok stay check in was not efficient electronic check in at stand but every person had to go to customer service after so was worthless. Hotel general appearance was nice the room was in working order and I liked the curious botanist toiletries. Called to have safe fixed as it did not work and never got someone to fix it. Did not recognize my parking credit perk from hotel.com so had to argue for it. Customer service was rude. Breakfast staff pleasant and helpful. Decent location for site seeing but need transportation pass.
