Staffs were friendly, the amenities were a little bit old but worthy for the price we have paid. Moreover, the location was so good that we could come to every tourist attractions within 15 minutes and the main station in 2 minutes. A backdrawn was the noise that we had to deal with every night, quite loud and continous.

Great choice close to station

Good value hotel, walking distance from Hauptbahnhof, in a quiet area. The Berlin Natural History Museum is directly opposite and is really interesting

The hotel was very convenient for public transportation. The interior hallways on my floor were scuffed and the carpet just looked old. There must be a hospital nearby as we had a street facing room which was VERY loud & constant sirens going by. (Not a problem for us because one is hard of hearing & the other had noise cancelling headphones). The front desk did warn us of the noise beforehand & did offer a different room…. so not a complaint just a confirmation that it will be loud.

Great location for Berlin HBF train station and to walk the main tourist attractions (Brandenberg gate etc) The room was clean, albeit small and in need of some upgrades such as fresh paint. The downside was that the hotel is also on a busy main road with a tram line and tram stop outside the hotel, of which the trams run throughout the night. As a result, it was very noisy with traffic and people and late night revellers throughout the early hours. The room was very hot and given an unexpected heat wave, there was little respite apart from a little floor fan to try and keep cool. Had to open the windows to get some breeze but this just made the noise from the street even worse.

Decent price and location

Place was nice and clean with a family feel. My only complain was noise at night from the rumble of trains and traffic, but location is decent and felt safe.
