No hot water one morning

Very plain hotel . No hot water on first morning. Came on after ringing reception? Was expensive for what it was.

Convenient hotel close to train station

The hotel location is not near any attraction, but it is very close to a U-bahn station, so you can go easily anywhere. Some rooms were smoking rooms before. Though they are probably not now, I can still smell it in my room. Fortunately, the staff happily changed a room for me. The hotel is old and next to an highway, but it is kept clean and the noise insulation is quite good if you close all windows.

Both awoke with bed bug bites in room 605. Night porter tried to charge us twice.

Near S-Bahn Statiion but no elevator to the 6th floor

My room was on the 6th floor but the elevator only went up to the fifth floor - I had to carry my luggages up by climbing the stairs. I think it would be nicer if they could have taken told me so that I didn't have to wonder how to get to the 6th floor. The staff asked if I wanted to have breakfast but didn't tell me there was an extra of 8 euro. Apart from these I am quite satistified with my stay as the location is near the the station and price is reasonable too. The bathroom was spacious and wifi was fast.

Good value

I liked being able to come and go - the road noise didn't disturb me and the hotel itself seemed very sound proof between rooms. My room was spacious and a little dimly lit. Lots of hot water. I preferred to eat breakfast in the bakery over the road as the coffee was better. Excellent value and well located.

Clean comfortable but cold

The bad was comfortable and the room was clean. But the water in the showed were cold 3 times and the room was cold. I asked the reception to turn on the hit but they refused cause it wasnt cold enough. The receptionist in the morning was antipat.

Great value

Stayed in Triple Room with a Double Bed and a Single Bed. The Double Bed was actually Queen size by Australian standards. Bathroom facilities were fine. WiFi signal was not always reliable - we were using iPhone and iPad. Staff very helpful. Good location for exploring Berlin, about 7 kms from city centre. It is right next to Bundesplatz station which intersects with the two Berlin rail lines - the S line that rings the inner city and the U line that takes you into the city centre. So best of both worlds for getting around. It is also right next to an elevated motorway which meant we had to keep our windows closed at night for noise. This could be a problem in the warmer months because I don't think it has AC that cools down the room. The neighbourhood is quite safe. Overall we thought this was very good value for money.

Good value hotel conveniently placed for transport around Berlin. Proximity to both railway and urban motorway makes it a little noisy but not unacceptable. Good breakfast buffet for 8 euros.

U/S just yards away

very convenient location: U/S just yards away; unfortunately the ring motorway is also just yards away; well (noise) insulated windows but no A/C; therefore you have it either quiet and sticky or (with windows open) loud and breezy (may not be a problem in winter).

Very clean and convenient!

I was surprised by how clean the rooms were! They were a little on the small side, but I've stayed in smaller in Europe. A minute walk to the P+R for the U bahn/S bahn. A walk down the road to an Aldi. Overall, great place for a good price.

Very nice!!

Stay was comfortable and i really liked it. Next to the hotel is the train station which is very convenient. The hotel is bit far form the city center but train station being next to it solves the problem. Surrounding neighborhood is good too. At the train station, you can just park you car for free!! Breakfast was good too.

Comfortable stay.

The hotel was overall nice and clean. The service was good and the S/U-Bahn station being right to the side was very convenient. A minor complaint that it was a bit cold one night and the heater was not working.

Booking issue resolved professionally and to my satisfaction, upon checkin. No frills hotel BUT appointed with the basics, clean, tidy. All in well functioning order. Nice to book a moderatly priced hotel room which isn't a tired, rundown hotel trying to capture clients based on its prior glory days. Staff was helpful. Thanks. Lot's of quick eateries around. Grocery store within about a block. S-Bahn and U-Bahn not more than a stone's throw away. A pleasing 2-day stay.

Great Value!

I got a great deal staying here. just forty USD for a night. Very nice hotel. Staff was helpful and spoke english. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the train station which makes getting around berlin very easy. Perfect if your trying to keep costs low and still get a decent nights rest
