The house was beautiful and well kept, and the beds were comfortable. Our family made good use of the hot tub, foosball table, and karaoke machine, which added to the stay. We had a wonderful time. Paul was great and replied to any questions we had very quickly. The cabin was top notch! It was the cleanest, most well-stocked VRBO we've ever stayed in. Many extra, thoughtful touches from dog supplies and welcome gift to bathroom oops baskets! We would 100% stay here again.

Cacapon Retreat was a wonderful place for a short spring break getaway. The kitchen was perhaps the best appointed that I've ever seen in a rental, and the location overlooking Indian Run made for great meals out on the deck. Everything was clean and tidy, and Paul was great to communicate with. We would definitely reserve this log home again.

The home is welcoming, clean, well stocked with woods all around. We enjoyed being able to go for a nice wood walk from the backyard. The proximity to Cacapon state park was easy by car or foot. Excellent, prompt and positive communication with the owners. If we are in the area again we will stay here.

Property/house is in a great location and extremely clean. We do not have pets and that being said, you would never have known it is a pet friendly rental. No evidence of pet hair or odor. I misunderstood that the outdoor fire pit was not wood burning but a table top propane fire pit. The hiking trail behind the house was also an added bonus. The host was extremely attentive and answered any question immediately. I would stay there again!
