Our guesthouse in Bernhaupten is located in a quiet residential area on a south-facing slope with unobstructed panoramic views of our local mountains, the "Hochfelln," "Hochgern," and "Kampenwand." We also have a large garden with a swing. There is also a playground in the immediate vicinity. Bernhaupten is part of the municipality of Bergen. The town center is 3 km away from us. Bergen itself is a lively town with a spa park, a Kneipp facility, a natural outdoor swimming pool with beach volleyball courts, shopping, restaurants, and events. Hiking and biking trips into the Chiemgau Mountains or to Lake Chiemsee are possible right from our house. The “Königsee-Bodensee” bike path also runs right past our house. The train station is a 10-minute walk away. This makes it easy to take a day trip by train to Salzburg, Rosenheim, Munich, or Traunstein. There’s also a small supermarket near the train station to cover your daily needs. If you’d like, our local baker will deliver your breakfast rolls right to your doorstep.
Our spacious, well-maintained two-bedroom vacation apartment is located on the first floor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet. The apartment is ideal for families. Two to four people can enjoy a relaxing stay here. Please inquire about accommodating a fifth and sixth person. From the separate kitchen and the living room, you have access to the large, south-facing terrace, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of our mountains. On the large terrace, you can enjoy a magnificent sunset in the evening with a glass of wine or beer.
