It was really nice to relax on the porch in the mornings. I found a cute little toad by the pond. No WiFi while we were there but the data reception was good. Great to unplug and unwind.

Hotel property great location in south haven only 20 min from saugatuck and with a heated pool it’s great. The tvs could be upgraded to a smart tv and the sink where the water can stay on would be a benefit

The place was very peaceful. There’s a swing that overlooks a pond. I could have sat there all day long. The desk clerks were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. If I have a chance in the future, I’m coming back.

This is a great resort in South Haven. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are nice. It’s about 2.5 miles to walk to the central part of South Haven for lots of restaurants and bars. I will be back!

The staff were very friendly. The rooms are old and showing their age. Unfortunately we had to use the AC the entire time and it is very loud. And the room had a lot of bugs. The staff said they would take care of it. It was an average stay.

Pet friendly. The place was clean even though very old and with weird bedroom/bathrooms setup - “cobbled together” is best description. Staff was friendly, however the room and outdoor settings were not as expected - web photos are old! The “sandy beach” by pond was overgrown. Best thing was the proximity to downtown (about 2 miles from hotel). Overall, it was okay, but won’t be staying there again.

We had a very good and relaxing experience. The pond with waterfall and walking the fence line were wonderful. Clean rooms just the right size. The decking around upper level made for a nice place for coffee in the morning and pizza in the evening. A truly tranquil place.

I was a little hesitant to book because of the low price. But we loved this place the grounds are beautiful a pond in back with three camp fire rings and grill. Pool was very nice. It’s a old hotel but in good condition we will definitely rebook in the future. They have lots of chairs out side to enjoy the grounds.

The manager was rude. The “lounge” is a few gross local overpriced wines and beers that they make you buy because you can’t consume off-site alcohol. The building we stayed in was literally falling apart. No lake access and management that acted like they were doing us a favor by letting us stay in their run down room.
