Excellent stay at Babord

Very unique experience right on the river. Floating cottage was very clean and well organised. Nice and quiet. Comfortable bed. Close to pretty village and magnificent chateau just a few kilometres away. Lovely area for cycling. Also close to a commercial area with large stores including Intramermarche.Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

We wanted the experience of a houseboat, and that part of it was very nice. It was mostly the location was problematic, and then there was a road running a short distance across the river that was continuously filled with cars.

Le gite est très joli et propre. La vue sur Seine et le village agréable. L arrivée au gîte est fort désagréable, on a l impression d arriver dans une zone de non droit surtout en soirée.

Accomodatie zelf was perfect. Schoon en alles aanwezig. Accomodatie was erg moeilijk te vinden, ook niet via navigatie. Entree naar grote poort was niet best. Rommelig, oude auto's overal en als klap op de vuurpijl werden onze honden gegrepen door een grote bruine hond die uit de poort ontsnapte.

Endroit très sympathique mais l'annonce et les photos laissaient présager beaucoup plus d'intimité et de calme. Les grandes baies vitrées face au lit et donnant sur la Seine offrent une magnifique vue (coucher de soleil magnifique) mais offre aussi ... une magnifique vue sur votre lit de l'extérieur sauf si vous fermez les rideaux noirs occultants. Il serait judicieux de mettre des voilages qui permettraient plus d'intimité dans la chambre. L'appartement flottant est séparé en 2 blocs (babord et tribord), 2 gites côte à côte avec un autre gîte en face et vous aurez donc des voisins qui passent à côté ou en face de votre chambre, ce qui ne se laissait pas présager sur l'annonce. Le bruit de la route qui passe en face ne nous a pas trop dérangé mais on pouvait s'attendre à un calme absolu vue la description. Le matériel mis à disposition est trop minimaliste (ne comptez pas cuisiner sur place, allez plutôt au restaurant) et ni ouvre-boite, ni tire bouchon ! (Un minimum pourtant !) Et vous devrez amener votre eau (eau non potable). Sinon le lieu est très propre et très bien décoré. Donc personnellement un peu déçue par le manque d'intimité et le calme relatif mais la vue est très agréable. Les appartements se trouvent dans une zone industrielle qui peut paraître peu esthétique mais cela permet de se garer sans encombre. Donc endroit sympathique mais trop cher pour ne pas avoir cette sensation d'être seuls au monde comme nous l'espérions à la vue de l'annonce.
