Absolutely recommend - a cool haven to return to after a day out and about. The hotel room was just less than a 100 yards from the front door of the onsite Irish pub and restaurant yet we did not hear any noise in the room despite the live music both nights. The staff were the best, courteous, friendly, helpful. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment - it was spacious and clean and even had its own courtyard. Perfect for a family. I have not come across better in recent years. .

Better places to stay

Upon arrival I had to wait for the 2 people at the bar to finish their important conversation about friends before I was acknowledged which was a great start. The room was just ok, but it smelt really bad. It almost smelt like Diesel or Oil based paint, was terrible. Its not a very welcoming entrance either. The bathroom needs a decent clean as well. Luckily we only stayed a night. On the upside, the bistro was great.

It was difficult to acess car park for unit 1 when there was a larger Ute/SUV parked outside unit 2. The unit was very clean but the towel had several dirty marks on it.

We only stayed 2 nights and were involved in a weekend event at the ShowGrounds so we never actually used the hotel for anything more than to shower and sleep. It looked very interesting and I would love to stay again and enjoy the facilities....meals, live music etc

quiet location but easy walking distance to town

we checked in during Christmas period, the hotel was closed and not staffed, but the staff had kindly kept us informed and notified us a couple of days ahead the instruction how to retrieve the key to the room, which is very helpful. And Luke was very responsive when I asked about the hotel wifi, which didn't work for us unfortunately, as we couldn't log on.

A nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff were nice. The attached hotel is conveniently located. A walk down the same street takes you to centre of Bendigo. The hotel has an outdoor seating area. We didn't eat there but meals looked good. Motel room was lovely and well maintained. Roomy with a good sized bathroom. All usual facilities including fridge, microwave, jug, cups and tea/coffee. My one complaint is when I booked via Hotels.com, the price I clicked on to book is not what was charged to my credit card. The details on the website state the motel charges a credit card surcharge. That's fine. However, it should be added to the amount i am agreeing to pay at the time. I have booked in excess of 100 nights on Hotels. Com and this has NEVER happened before. Plus the credit card surcharge was 2.55%. These charges are supposed to be a maximum of 1.5% on a Visa card.
