This is a terrible hotel. The manager Raul is a terrible human. I had a death in my family so I made the reservation to stay here while in town. Shortly after I made my reservation another family member rented a large home that our entire family could stay in. I attempted to cancel my reservation but I needed the managers approval. I called 7 days ahead of my reservation and everyday following attempting to reach the manager. He would not take my call or return my call. I never set foot in the hotel. Did not check in. Was not there at all. While trying to reach the manager a desk clerk I spoke to told me that my room was rented to another person. After I left the area then the manager called and left me a message that he would not issue a refund.

The hotel is right next door to the Original House of Pancakes, easily one of the best breakfast restaurants in the state. The fitness center equipment was very limited, not well serviced: what are ya gonna do with one two-pound and one three-pound weight? And the elliptical machine was not working properly. The room had everything you'd need--including adequate lighting!!!--for an extended business stay. The bed was okay, although I've experienced better.

We've stayed here many times since it's a great dog friendly place centrally located. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent. Unfortunately the room needed some work. Specifically the Television which looked to be about 15 years old and was in a strange location to the side of the bed. Additionally the matress was probably older tha. The TV and was not comfortable and was in desperate need of changing.
