Upon arrival, we were asked via text if everything was ok and did we need anything. We responded that the remote didn’t work for the tv. We were informed that there should be 2 remotes. There was only 1. We were told someone would come take care of this. Someone came and was unable to bring the correct remote. This issue was never resolved during our 3 night stay. In addition, the tv remote and top of the microwave were filthy. I also inquired about getting a small light bulb for the night light they supplied.. never happened. Another odd issue was that the connecting door to the other condo could be accessed by our room. It should have been locked on our side by a key but wasn’t, therefore if we wanted to we could have unlocked the deadbolt on our side and gone into their condo… we of course didn’t but this was very unsettling. I asked the guy that came for the remote if he could get the key to lock it, he tried but didn’t have the key. It seems like there should be a checklist before someone rents the condo, to be sure all things are in order. Ex: there were 2 of us but there were 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths but 1 hand towel and no bathmat. Besides the tv cable remote missing, the air conditioner obnoxious loud sound drove my husband crazy! The directions on how to locate the exact condo were challenging, didn’t expect 423B to be directly above 323B, had to get out of the car and walk towards the bldg to figure out. The bed, shower and location good.
