Our modern chalet is just minutes from the Schuss Mountain ski lifts and six premier golf courses, making it the perfect home base year-round. Inside, soaring vaulted ceilings, expansive windows, a cozy fireplace, and inviting gathering spaces create a warm, boutique-inspired retreat.

After a day of adventure, unwind in the hot tub, fire up the grill, or gather for games and conversation.

The home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests with a king loft suite and ensuite bath, a queen bedroom, a bunk room with two full-size beds, a queen sleeper sofa, and two full bathrooms.

Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, in-home laundry, and all the comforts of home.

You'll be just a short drive from downtown Bellaire, Shanty Creek Resort, Torch Lake, Glacial Hills, local wineries, breweries, and some of Northern Michigan's best skiing, golf, hiking, mountain biking, and boating.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Make sure the grill and propane are off and all windows are closed and locked.
Make sure the hot tub cover is securely in place before leaving.
If you used the fire pit, make sure the fire and all embers are completely extinguished.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Please respect our neighbors and HOA quiet hours from 10 PM–8 AM. Keep outdoor voices, music, and other noise to a minimum during these hours.
Please use the hot tub responsibly. No glass, food, or smoking. Replace and secure the cover after each use. Children must be supervised.
Use only the designated fire pit. Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished after use. Follow all local burn restrictions.

We had a fantastic stay at Schuss Haus! The house looked just like the pictures. The location was just right for our weekend getaway. We were minutes from the golf course and downtown Bellaire where we enjoyed live music at Shorts Brewery. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed the quiet setting. The hot tub was an extra bonus!
