A private cabin loft space near Bozeman along the base of Bridger Mountains with stunning views of the city lights below. A natural spring whispers through feeding 4 gorgeous lilypad topped ponds with lush gardens & farm animals. A tree shaded gazebo area with beach, BBQ, & fire pit provides an enchanting entertainment opportunity. This is a privately accessed 2bed 1 bed upstairs loft above the shop space that we live in. Full kitchen & bath, washer/dryer, BBQ, and incredible mountain & valley views from the front & back decks. We live below the space with our 10 year old daughter our sweet mannered golden retriever, Daisy. Kid and animal friendly. The spaces are insulated in between levels so noise transfer is minimal & we are easy going. We hope to be gone camping on weekends but we'll see if we can escape the farm duties, ha! A scenic country drive (15-20 minutes to/from Bozeman, Belgrade, Manhattan or the Airport). National Forest & numerous trailheads within minutes. 5 minutes to excellent trout fishing along the East Gallatin River.
The location provides an oasis for foxes, birds, deer, & elk. Animal sounds & viewing are abundant. In addition to the wildlife, we have chicken hens that provide nutrient rich organic eggs that you are more than welcome to gather and include in your breakfast. We run an outfitting & adventure oriented business so are happy to arrange or outfit onsite or offsite adventures/experiences if interested. We state up to 6 guests in the listing with the thought of an adult couple with granny /gramps in tow with some kids that co-sleep, but we would appreciate a conversation if more than 4 adults as it likely not a good fit but open to that scenario if able to respect our septic / water usage limitations. We’ve painted a nice picture for you and it is no less than absolute majestical here but please know this place is not a brand new Big Sky Luxury McMansion. It is whimsical, eccentric, quirky, & has a rustic feel. We hope that can be embraced. If you're looking for perfection, there are higher end places out there. A Safe neighborhood. We know most of the surrounding neighbors in this tightnit, small & rural community of Reese Creek. We seek to surround ourselves only with well mannered and positive natured folks with proven backgrounds & transparancy. We'll require you tell us a bit about yourself, the nature of your stay/travels, etc. so we can get assurance we only attracting safe & responsible folks here as we have kiddos to keep safe & neighbors to respect. Kid Friendly. We love kids visiting this special place, but please not there are over 5ft deep ponds & other hazards that exist here. You must take full-responsibility for keeping your kids safe here and know this is a farm / kids challenge course kind of setting vs. in town condo.
**IMPORTANT** We are big animal lovers, BUT! But please note, we require a pre-booking conversation. We reserve the right to protect our kids, free range chickens, furniture, & linens. We've experienced much damage, barking, & a few accidental animal deaths due to visiting dogs so covering our bases, but being accommodating as possible. We in the process of starting a farm on the property so there may be chickens, ducks, turkeys, goose, & goats running amok. VRBO considers anything less than 10 stars as if something went wrong & can take our listing offline. Please communicate upfront, any special needs, expectations, etc. We live or will have someone onsite to help with any needs during your stay, so please don't hesitate let us know If we can do anything to improve the stay along the way, we love nothing more than making folks happy, it brings us joy.
