We really like this place. It's in the middle of nowhere with great pool and spa facilities. The children's entertainment is also great, with a lot of variation and the person in charge of the entertainment, Bolinha, did an amazing job getting everybody on board and excited.

My stay here was the perfect finale to wind down from an extensive road trip of Lisbon, Nazare, Aveiro and Porto. The grounds, lobby and room exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly and welcoming. My room, all on 1st floor, was sparkling clean with a view of olive trees. Mini fridge partially stocked with plenty of extra room. Air conditioned as well. Nespresso coffee maker available by request. On site restaurant and bar well appointed with excellent cuisine. I enjoyed a massage at the on property spa. Play area for kid's including kids swimming pool. Indoor and outdoor pool for adults. Stable of horses available to ride. Free winery tour with tastings was my favorite. Of course i purchased a case of their wine. Walking trails also. Set amongst green rolling hills. Come and enjoy.

Loved that it’s in a vinegar, with access to hotel chain’s own winery and wines. The winery visit was short and very informative. We didn’t do the tasting because we already know the wines, so we just did our own Port tasting at the bar (no tastings available, have to visit the Porto location). Breakfast was delicious and included. The omelette station was great, excellent service. Had dinner both nights at the buffet but one night was great, the next the food was not hot. Otherwise, great property and staff. I would avoid summer, the kids are a bit out of control (they were in the adult pool instead of kid pool), so we only used it once. But the spa was nice and tranquil.

Fomos passar um fim de semana em família. O local é bastante agradável e com bom ambiente. Os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e prestáveis. No entanto, fiquei um pouco desapontada com a capacidade de resposta às atividades prestadas. Já tinha telefonado uns dias antes para saber informações e o que me foi dito é que para informações e marcações teria que ser depois do check-in. Ora, chegámos no sábado ao final da tarde e já não estava ninguém para nos atender e no domingo de manhã, quando tentámos marcar atividades equestres e massagem, já não havia disponibilidade. Penso que devia haver mais disponibilidade, ou prioridade para quem tem estadias mais curtas ou a possibilidade de marcar na altura da reserva. Neste sentido foi uma desilusão.

Shambles. Nice hotel. Nice location. Some nice staff. Some staff runnng round like blue-tailed flies whilst others don't seem to have a clue. Covid measures fine in some cases, a joke in others. Being a global traveller, this is NOT a 4-star hotel. The room is not up to scratch (pretty basic and dated). Seemed to be a lot of trainees. We had a similar experience in Vila Gale in Braga last year but thought we'd try this. Sadly no improvement, which is a shame as we've had a great time at Vila Gale Opera in Lisbon. Sorry Vila Gale won't be staying with you again.

Tem excelentes condições para umas férias com crianças, podendo-se fazer diversas atividades com eles, existindo também atividades para adultos. Com muitos clientes no hotel, nas refeições podem ter que esperar um bocado por mesa. No nosso caso foi uma estadia muito agradável, tanto que o nosso filho ainda queria ficar mais uns dias.

Superbe endroit avec les enfants. Les piscines et les animaux ont émerveillées nos filles de 3 & 6 ans. On s’est juste trouvés ignorés à certains moments comme on ne parlait pas portugais. Dommage sur ce point là.

Já vimos para este hotel há 6 anos, mas penso que este será o último. Os quartos não são renovados há demasiado tempo e o serviço está completamente desorganizado. O kids club perdeu a qualidade quase por completo.
