Great breakfast & great staff. Professional and personal managers, Johnson and Eric 國. Manager Johnson with a great heart - my husband and I met him in the street looking for the subway station. He volunteered to bring us to the station and showed us how to use cell phones to get in, even escorted us into the subway car and pointed which stop to get off. All till that moment, we were completely strangers. I thanked him for being a helper from God since it was the first time we were in Beijing. He then gave us his name card - Room Division Manager Hilton - saying that he was not sure if he was the helper from God but he was sure that he was a helper from Hilton Hotel Wangfujing Beijing, the same hotel we would stay for the next 10 days. At the same night when we came back to the hotel from outings, there were gifts and a birthday card for my husband laying on the desk writing by him with lots of other staff signatures. We were both extremely happy and surprised. How did he find out all about us?? He is not only a helper from Hilton but a real helper from God. He made our China trip so colorful and memorable. Great location Great room. It was our third time in Beijing. The reason why I gave it a 4* is the continuous lack of smile/ friendliness from the team at Hilton. Very robotic and transactional. No warmth. The housekeeping team were lovely. Always smiling and greeting. The front desk/ lobby team can definitely improve on this front. I've been to China many times and have stayed at many hotels even in rural areas and they have for the most part been super friendly -even with zero english- smiling/ friendliness is universal, no matter what language we speak- one cannot argue that Hilton way is the Chinese cultural way of being. Other than that, it was a was another memorable stay in Beijing. Thank you!

Great location - close to the Forbidden City, restaurants, shopping, etc. Clean, spacious room. Big breakfast buffet with many options for different tastes. Staff was friendly and helpful, even organizing a taxi for me for my ride to the airport. It was nice to be able to enjoy an espresso in the lobby bar!

Concierge staff ~ Leo Jiang and a fair small size lady (I'm not sure her name); hotel porter who stand at the entrance (the tall guy who work night shift), they are all friendly and helpful. However, receptionist staff need to improve to let guest feel welcoming. Room cleanliness is good too. Thank you all.

Property is dater. It probably looked really nice 10 years ago. Carpet was stained all over. The walk-in shower floor was angled away from the drain, so you'd stand in a pool of water almost up to your ankles - not nice. Out of 2 restaurants on the property, only 1 was open. Ordered room service - a sandwich and soup. Sandwich bread was stale and soup tasted like it was heated out of a carton.
