Décevant tout est dit. En arrivant épave de voiture à côté de la grille d'entrée...Odeur horrible d'humidité, sol qui colle aux chaussures tellement s'est encrassé, refrigérateur contenant encore du poisson décongelé (odeur nauséabonde), les WC très sales, le micro-ondes sale, la douche pleine de moisissures et parois pleines de calcaire ... Si nous avions pu nous serions repartis le jour même. Nous nous sommes jamais senti aussi mal dans une location de vacances ... à fuir

Charming old house

We enjoyed the esthetic of this old house. We were there in late October and while there is heat, it is an older drafty house without modern windows etc and the thermostat limited to 19 C, which felt kind of chilly. I think it would be wonderful in summer. Kitchen was good except all the knives were very dull- hard to cut our baguette. The listing says there is a dryer and hot tub, but there is not. Only a washer and bathtub. The cleanliness was okay but once I discovered it was our job to clean the place I understood why. Since the cleaning is expected of the guest, I imagine it's a little hit and miss. We probably would stay here again in the summer months. Good location, beautiful region, very close to WWI sites and museums. It is the location of the Battle of the Somme.

We needed a quiet rest

We had everything which we needed - the sun room was a real bonus - it was warm there even with the sun not shining. Watching the wildlife was relaxing a a time of peace.

Even tot rust komen

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst. Heerlijk huis met veel privacy. Eigenaren wonen naast het huis maar er is genoeg privacy. Huis is compleet ingericht. Boven een douche met toilet. Beneden een bad en apart toilet. Fijn dat auto op het grote (afgesloten) terrein/tuin geparkeerd kan worden. WiFi verbinding is matig, alleen in de serre heb je ontvangst.

Merveilleux!

Nous avons passé un excellent weekend. Corinne et Franck, les hôtes sont chaleureux, accueillants et disponibles. La maison invite au calme et à la détente, les enfants ont pu profiter du jardin et aller nourrir les poules (gros succès pour les petits - et les grands). Très bien équipée, cette maison est parfaite pour un séjour en famille. Un bon port d'attache pour visiter la région. Je recommande vivement!
