Very large generous spacious rooms with everything you need. Great bed. Was very happy with our accommodation. The only negative is that when you opened your door the smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering wafting in from the central courtyard where people were smoking. Fortunately it didn't get into our room. Just the corridors when walking in them.

Car park was full so parked in the street. Slight smell of cigarettes in the building. Noisy hot water service cycled all night every 10 minutes. Beer garden patrons outside the room.

The first impression is the smell as you walk in the front door - that dingy old pub carpet smell. The room was old but functional. The fridge was plugged in and on but my milk was warm in the morning. No hot water in the tap or shower despite leaving them running for ages. Won’t be back.

The room had everything I needed. The staff were courteous. The Grand is a Meca for Bega, it's the real Bega experience, a good central location. I'll be back.
