Little Wrest is within walking distance to the English Heritage site of Wrest Park and there are numerous country walks such as Barton Hills Nature reserve to be enjoyed throughout the seasons. In the village of Silsoe there are local shops and friendly, welcoming pubs within walking distance of the house. The nearby market town of Ampthill provides access to a number of restaurants serving delicious food.

We have just returned from a weekend with our grownup children and spouses at Little Wrest. A great place to spend time together and enjoy each others company. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and double range perfect for cooking for 9. Lots of games in the cupboard and our dog preferred the house bed to his own.Bedrooms were prepared to our needs and the outside space would be lots of fun for younger children, bring a ball!

It was Amazing….!!

Honestly sometimes pictures lie but we walked in and every picture that we saw the house matched exactly. It’s a beautiful home with lots of space for you and the family to stay. We had a great time and would suggest this place to anyone and we will be booking again….!!
