We invite you to experience a delightful vacation in this charming one-bedroom rental, ideally located in the heart of downtown Beaver Island. Welcome to the historic St. James Boat Shop. Established in 2017, our shop continues the legacy of craftsmanship started by Dan Burton and his family. Since 1985, we have specialized in creating handcrafted cherry wood boats and buckets. If you have any questions or need assistance planning your trip to Beaver Island, we are here to help. We can assist with arranging tours, travel, rentals, and event planning, as well as provide valuable advice for an unforgettable vacation experience. This was our first trip to Beaver Island and absolutely loved it. The apartment was 0.5 mile from town and the grocery store is almost next door. It was great having a kitchen and the patio overlooking the bay was wonderful. We had our car and there was ample parking. Highly recommend this property if you are visiting Beaver Island.

Nice, comfortable and convenient place to stay. We only had bikes with us and it was only a few blocks from the ferry and very close to Wild Strawberry Cafe for good food and the market. We had warm weather and wondered if it was hot if the one fan would have been enough, as there is no a/c, but it worked out well for us. The view is beautiful!
