My wife and I stayed here for one night and we couldn’t believe our luck! The room was spacious and clean with everything we could have needed. Sonya and Sebastien were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and friendly and gave us some great advice and suggestions on how to get the most out of our stay and what to do in the area. We will certainly stay again the next time we are in the area!

The stay at this property was far better than the overhyped Mt. St. Michel. We also had one of our best meals in France at La Bisqu’in in Beauvoir.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was filling and nutritious. The hostess and owners of this location were wonderful. They went out of the way to make sure we taken care of. Their genuine warm and friendly manner makes you feel so welcome. After traveling for over 6 weeks through out Europe my husband and I agreed Les Vieilles Digues is on the very top of our list of the best places we’ve been due to Sebastian and Sonia hospitality.

Located on the edge of Beauvoir (the side nearest Mont St Michel), this place is well located to visit the Mont. Parking on site is easy - and its possible to walk from the property to the shuttle bus to access Mont St Michel, or even walk the whole way if you are feeling energetic! The hosts will give directions if needed as it’s not an immediately obvious route (parking at the Mont is quite expensive so this can save a lot of money). Breakfast is a good “continental” one with reasonable choices. All in all a good choice when visiting Mont Saint Michel.

We had a wonderful stay at Les Vielles Digues. The hosts are very attentive and helpful with local recommendations. The room was saviour and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent with homemade items prepared by the hosts. Location was perfect for visiting Mont St Michel either by foot or using the free shuttle bus.

Welcoming well located bed and breakfast

The bed and breakfast is beautiful. It is located walking distance to Mt St Michel and the Mt St Michel free shuttles. The owners are super helpful and welcoming. Their breakfast in the morning is delicious and has lots of handmade items. I would recommend staying here.

Breakfast was delicious- especially Sebastian’s salted caramel sauce and pancakes. Our room was lovely and comfortable - wish we had known before hand our bathroom for room 7 was across the hall. The room was very nice and comfortable. The entire place was very clean and nicely decorated. Great place to stay when visiting Mont St. Michel.
